We want to be fully transparent with you about how this site works. This page explains what cookies are, which ones we use (very few, and none for tracking), and what will happen if that changes in the future.
What are cookies?

They can serve many purposes: remembering your preferences, keeping you logged in to your account, or — in the case of third-party cookies — tracking your behavior across different websites to serve you targeted ads.
What we use right now
El Chismoso does not have tracking tools like Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any advertising cookies of any kind installed. Full stop.
What may exist are functional session cookies — temporary files that disappear when you close your browser — that handle basic things like:
- Remembering your language preference (Spanish or English).
- Keeping you logged in to your membership account during a session.
These cookies do not personally identify you and are not shared with third parties.
